Family Day May 9th 2008 Seoul, Korea

Wow, what an amazing day Lord!

- I lift them up to you Lord in there time of transition, please give comfort to thier hearts. Amen.

Thank you to those who have emailed and commented on the blog with your prayers. It has kept us in good spirits. We'd like to thank Zach's foster family for what a tremdious blessing they are to him. Zach's foster family is very special to us. We hope we can stay in touch with them as he grows. We just fell in love with them as wanted to bring them home with us too. They love Zach so much...emotions were very high today for both families....it was one of the toughest things we've had to do in our lives so far.

I have been excitedly watching for new posts. He is so, so beautiful and you both are just glowing. What a blessing that Zach's foster family has surrounded him with so much love over the past months. Our prayers are with all of you - particularly over these next couple of days as you bond as a family. God is good!

Dear Marni, Phil and Zach, what an amazing journey you have begun. I have been reading your posts, as you write them and the connections that you are making will fill your heart forever. I was especially touched by the interaction of Phil and Zach that was on your video. I have never met Phil, or heard him speak and his soft, loving, voice while he held Zach, for the first time made me cry. You all are lucky to have each other and I believe that your journey through life together has truly been blessed by God. Marni, this will be a Mother's Day that you will never forget. Congratulations!!!!!!!!
Love,
Aunt Joan

As we view the pictures and watch the video, our hearts are just pounding with excitement! I am at work talking to Nana on my cell. Nana is upstairs "boo hooing," and I am doing my best to hold it, but not doing it well. I don;t know what to say. I am speechless! We love you Phil, Marni, and Zachary!

I am so excited, among many tears, for you. What a great yet hard day. You two have hearts of gold and so does his foster family. And you held together so well for him. God has truly blessed you. We cannot wait to see you again.
Love you,
Sheila
